I am a PhD candidate in the University of California, Irvine's Criminology, Law, and Society program. My research interests include crime and place, crime and the built environment, and safety through design.
I completed my undergraduate and master's degrees in Criminology and Criminal Justice at Portland State University, with an additional focus on Urban Geography and GIS, Political Science, and Anthropology.
My current research focuses on measuring the built environment through the use of Google Street View, and I am working on a project that documents Vehicle Ramming Attacks world-wide.
